The Carey House (Salvation Army)- Laconia
The Laconia Carey House serves individuals as well as families. Shelter guests are provided with comprehensive services, including: emergency housing, nutritious meals, case management, and assistance with job searches. Shelter staff work to help guests prepare to move to permanent housing. Such preparation includes securing an income, applying for benefits, applying for assistance for first month's rent or a security deposit, as well as finding suitable accommodations that will allow guests to transition back into the community successfully.
