About Us
The New Hampshire (NH) Young Adult Advisory Council (YAAC) is an organization for young adults aged 18-29 from NH working to find preventative solutions for issues related to mental health, substance misuse, and suicide. Members develop leadership and professional skills, network with peers, lead trainings on life skills, and build community.
The NH YAAC is an important part of the Young Adult Strategies (YAS) grant program, with the goal to prevent substance use and suicide, and to promote mental health and wellbeing among young adults across New Hampshire
Led by the Strafford County Public Health Network and other partners across NH, the YAS grant program is funded by the NH Department of Health and Human Services
